Our Facility and Capacity
Growing to meet the needs of our clients has been a consistent theme in our more
than 50-year history. We began in 1961 with a 2,500-square-foot building. Twelve
expansions later, our 49-acre campus includes a total of more than 330,000
square feet of space—100,000 square feet of which is equipped with state-of-theart technology, instrumentation and resources dedicated to environmental testing,
including:

More than 300 technical and support staff members working three shifts, as
well as weekends, to accommodate projects around the clock.
Dedicated laboratory space for specific technical areas and instrumentation,
including 41 GC/MSs, 4 HRGC/HRMSs, 50 GCs, 6 HPLCs, 3 ICP/MSs, 4 ICPs,
2 Cold Vapor Hgs and 1 AF Low Level.
A unique automated sample storage and retrieval system (ASRS) for maximum
sample security and efficient sample handling. This system has the capacity
to store about 64,000 samples and combines robotic cranes, carousels,
computers and sample bar coding to allow quick sample retrieval for a speedy
laboratory testing process.
A state-of-the-art volatiles lab with 23 GC/MS units, as well additional GCs
dedicated to VOA prep and storage for water, solid and air testing.

Program Management
We provide personalized service with a single point of contact to manage
your project needs. Our team of 20 project managers communicate project
requirements with our laboratory personnel, answer questions, facilitate problem
resolution and provide report and certification status.
Our consistent focus on our employees has resulted in very low staff turnover
and therefore a stable and dependable workforce, so that you can be confident
that you will work with the same team from project commencement through
completion. Because our project managers work with the same clients on a
regular basis, they become knowledgeable about each client’s unique project
needs and can anticipate and resolve challenges that may arise.
Our formal process for review and implementation of program, project (QAPP)
and agency requirements gives you the confidence that we can sucessfully
deliver your Data Quality Objectives (DQOs) and project requirements. Our
LIMS manages your requirements through Project Notes and Lab Notes, which
are communicated directly to the lab, where and when the information is
needed.

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environmental holds certifications in 40 states
and can perform testing in 47 states. And with a fleet of 14 vehicles and a national
network of service centers and couriers, we provide several flexible options to
expeditiously transport your samples from virtually anywhere in the U.S. to our

Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Our LIMS is designed to manage all technical data, sample tracking, reports, EDDs
and data package generation related to your project within one, comprehensive
system. We enter all project data including the methods, matrices, compound lists
and reporting limits before your samples arrive at the lab to ensure accuracy. We
also provide an IT support team to make real-time enhancements to the system as
needed to meet your project needs
Data Deliverables
Our data reporting system will report analytical results with information you need
to meet regulatory guidelines whether you’re collecting samples for Superfund,
RCRA, UST or state programs. Electronic reports are generated with laboratory
signatures in PDF and/or Excel format and are emailed with the chain of custody
to keep your record management simple.
Our Electronic Data Deliverables (EDD) generation and quality control process
provides you with the assurance that the data is complete, correct and consistent
with your hard copy analytical report. We support more than 200 formats including
Federal/DoD, Regulatory, CA EDF (GeoTracker), NJDEP SRP and commercial
formats like EQuIS.

Our single-source, LIMS relational database enables us to generate your EDD,
using your reference value file (RVF) and review it with electronic data checkers
so that you receive your requested dataset that consistently loads correctly the
very first time.
We also offer a wide range of data packages to meet your reporting and data
validation needs. We offer several state-specific formats, including NJ, NY, MA,
CT and TX. All packages are paginated and scanned into Adobe PDF format and
burned onto a CD for your ease of storage. Each PDF file is also bookmarked
with each section listed in the table of contents.
Online Data Access - myEOL
myEOL, our innovative online data access tool, offers you a timely and secure
window to comprehensive laboratory information as your project progresses. Our
easy-to-use online setup allows you to register for a myEOL account and begin
viewing data quickly. You can view extensive, live project information such as
submitted samples, chains of custody, sample receipts, document logs, final
reports and invoices. myEOL also allows you to compare your results to regulatory
limits, show exceedances and export the data, making it easier for you to see the
comparison between sample results, reporting limits and applicable regulatory
limits. myEOL allows you to configure your personal home page to view the
reports and documents you access the most.
