Degree summary Degree structure Mode: Full-time: 1 year; Part-time: 2 years (for SPRs only) Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits. The programme consists of seven core modules (120 credits) and a dissertation (60 credits). DISSERTATION/REPORT The programme is delivered through a combination of lectures, small group teaching, journal clubs, and one-to-one teaching in the clinical and laboratory situation. Assessment is through written papers (MCQ, MSA, and essays), mock written, oral and patient examination, supervised clinical work, internal graduate appraisal, logbooks, and the dissertation. // All MSc students undertake an independent research project which culminates in a dissertation of approximately 10,000–12,000 words.
