Dear Ms. Reedy:
Thank for notifying the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) that Lancaster
Laboratories has changed their name to Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environmental, LLC
(ELLE). Lancaster Laboratories demonstrated that they could meet the laboratory analytical
requirements for the Volatile Petroleum Hydrocarbon (VPH) and Extractable Petroleum
Hydrocarbon (EPH) analyses pertaining to petroleum releases regulated by the DEQ and were
included on the DEQ Soil and Water Analytical Laboratories approved laboratory list. As ELLE,
the DEQ expects the same quality of work to continue.
ELLE, at the above address, have been given approval to perform VPH and EPH analyses on
samples collected to satisfy the requirements of the DEQ, and have been formally added to the
list of approved laboratories (see enclosure).
