Ensuring Courses in the CCC Curriculum Inventory matches our local systems 1. Review the courses used by your college against those in the State inventory. Any courses that are missing or improperly entered must be corrected. 2. Create/Modify your course using the CCC Curriculum Inventory (see screen shot below) Ensuring Courses in the CCC Curriculum Inventory matches our local systems 3. To get a CB number for a new course, or to change information attached to a current CB number, you will need to use the appropriate form. 4. When filling out the form, be sure that you use the appropriate number of spaces for your course. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Incorrect spacing will cause the system to reject your course. See samples below: Above is where you will enter the course ID, you have 12 spaces. See Below for a guidline You must use the Proper District Abbreviation USE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS!!! Even if your course is shorter, you must use up all the spaces in the box on the form. For example, you would enter Accounting 1 as: Name X X X A C C X X X X T G Number Letter X X X X X 0 0 1 Or, you would enter Vocational Education 101CE as: Name X X X V O C X X X X E D Number Letter X X X X X 1 0 1 C E Be sure that you follow these guidelines. Courses entered at the State which are not the same as the courses in Protocol will result in rejected MIS uploads. Unless corrected, these rejections can result in a loss of apportionment to the college.
