Class sessions will be a combination of lectures and discussion of board questions and case scenarios. In order for the class to be beneficial, it is critical that students be prepared and contribute to the class. Attendance as well as preparation is critical to success on the National Board. An attendance grade (10%) will be factored into the final grade. Each absence lowers the final grade one point. Promptness is important so that the material scheduled for the day can be covered. Two tardies will result in the deduction for one absence. Quizzes and Examinations A quiz will be assigned/given before/at each session. A pilot National Board Examination and a previous National Board Examination will be given. The National Board Examination Score will be used as Final Exam Score. If the National Board Examination Scores are not received in time, the Mock Board will count twice.
