The Watson School of Education seeks to establish an English as a Second Language minor
consisting of the following classes (21 hours total).
EDN 265 Culture, Advocacy and Policy for ESL Teachers
ENG 320 Introduction to Linguistics
EDN 316 Second Language Acquisition
ENG 321 Structure of the English Language
EDN 417 Second Language Methods and Assessment
EDN 418 Reading and Writing in a Second Language
Electives: 3 hours in a Foreign Language (200 level or above)
