● Selected to lead a team of four students to compete in a two day hackathon contest.
● Leader/innovator of one of the five teams of four participating in developing an app to create budgets, track spending,
manage expenses, developing and executing a savings and investment plan for Capital One clients.

LIGO Docent.
A part time job spent working as a docent for the Science Education Center located in one of two LIGO centers in the US.
● Approached visitors, engaged them, and facilitated the exhibit experience for K-12+ learners, and in so doing provided a
more educative, fun, relaxed and interesting atmosphere for all participants.
● Illustrated/explained scientific connections between exhibits at the Science Education Center (SEC) and LIGO research.
Thus, helping to spur more people to develop an interested and appreciation for all the work done at the LIGO center.
● Participated in a three day training focused on communication, practice, and reflections on the job. This rare opportunity
directly translated into better customer service skills going forward.
Summer Intern 2015.

Full time IT Helpdesk Assistant.
A summer internship spent working in several departments of the Division of Information Technology on the SUBR campus.
● Installed, modified, and repaired computer hardware and software on various systems throughout campus.
● Cleaned up both desktop and laptops campus wide, removing malware, spyware, viruses, and other threats.
● Ran diagnostic programs to resolve problems whose solutions were usually unfamiliar to me, and also installed computer
peripherals for some employees on campus. All these efforts collectively contributed towards an increase in enrollment since
survey showed an improvement in student’s/staff satisfaction with IT Helpdesk customer service.

IT Help Desk Undergraduate Assistant.
● Responsible for setting up upgraded computer hardware for campus computers, and laboratories for two conservative
years. Performed timely completion of assigned tasks.
● Was unanimously granted limited administrative rights over the summer by the DoIT board of supervisors to facilitate my
installation of delicate software available on the school’s server and ease the trouble shooting of on campus computers on the
network. A level of trust seldom bestowed upon students.
