IPA SURVEY PROJECT COORDINATION FORM 2010 The office of Institutional Planning and Assessment (IPA) is responsible for coordinating all university-level surveys. In doing so, the IPA will take on a dual role: to coordinate all major surveys and to be a resource for data sharing and exemplary practices1. Specifically, the IPA is committed to developing and publicizing a yearly schedule of major surveys to be conducted at the University of Saskatchewan. This will ensure that we do the following: 1. Coordinate the timing of surveys to avoid multiple surveys that target the same population in the field at once 2. Minimize survey requests and participant fatigue by limiting the number of surveys and sample size for any one specific group 3. Minimize the collection of duplicate information 4. Maximize resources by taking advantage of opportunities for joint surveys (piggy-backing) 5. Communicate survey results within the university community and beyond as appropriate If you or your college/unit are planning to conduct a survey project in the next year, please let us know by completing this form. 1.
