Semester Total
+ General Education Program (GEP) Requirements: To complete the requirements for graduation and the General Education
Program, various categories of credit hours and co-requisites must be satisfied. NCSU approved GEP course lists for each category
can be found at: http://oucc.dasa.ncsu.edu/general-education-program/. Equivalent UNCW courses that satisfy NCSU GEP
requirements can be found at: http://uncw.edu/preeng/CurrentStudents/currentNCSUGeneralEducation.html.
1
Courses listed in red will be taken through the NC State College of Engineering Distance Education Program.
Alternatively, PHY 202 may be taken in the Summer II session at UNCW after the Freshman or Sophomore years.
3
ECE 212 is not offered in the Summer. ECE 211, ECE 220, ECE 301, and ECE 302 are all offered in the Summer and can be taken in a Summer
session to lighten a semester course load.
4
Students in the Engineering Entrepreneurs Program see the NCSU semester by semester plan for more information.
5
ECE Foundation Electives: See NCSU semester by semester plan for departmental approved list.
6
EE Electives: See NCSU semester by semester plan for departmental approved list.
7
