The following are courses that are needed for University Studies (general education requirements) and
the RTH program outside of the major requirements. You can find more information about admission

proficiency at the 201 level. A variety of
languages are accepted; here are the course
number equivalents:
Example: If you took Spanish in high school,
you will need to take SPN 201 at UNCW or
SPA 211 at a NC Community College. If you
have no previous Foreign Language, you could
take SPN 120 and SPN 201 at UNCW.
