Discussion Item: Policy on Substitutes - Meeting by Meeting

For an occasional absence, select ad-hoc substitute
 Motion: If a member of the IAC cannot attend an individual meeting the member shall
secure an alternate Marine Science Faculty to attend that meeting in the member’s place.

 Starting next Academic Year: When an elected member cannot attend IAC meetings for an
entire semester due to class/research assignments schedule conflict, an elected alternate
member will attend in the member’s place for that semester.
