Martin Posey: Summer Stipends best use of funds Martin: Any Marine Science Researcher could apply Lou Abrams: Recruitment Tool Martin Posey: Set aside one or two summer stipend opportunities for entering students o Fund summer stipends to supplement academic year RA/TA stipends Ami Wilbur: Students should have to apply for these stipends Richard Laws: Use some funds for equipment R&R Dan: Also provide opportunity for departments without Master’s Programs to get TA support ACTION: Good Discussion.
