Connecting to the PRC share on Jade
Windows
1. Double click on “Computer” on your desktop, or choose “Computer” from the start menu.
2. Click on the option at the top to “Map Network Drive”. If you don’t see an option, choose “Tools”
then “Map Network Drive.”
3. Select a drive letter (e.g. the letter “U”), and for the path enter one of the following:
a. On Campus only or VPN access: \\jade\PRC
b. Off Campus or mobile use: https://webshare.usask.ca/jade/PRC
4. Hit “Finish” and enter your NSID and password if prompted.
Mac OS X
1. From the Finder, select “Go” then “Connect to Server”
2. Type in the following:
a. On Campus only or VPN access: smb://jade.usask.ca/PRC
b. Off Campus or mobile use: https://webshare.usask.ca/jade/PRC
3. Click on the “+” to save it as a Favourite
4. Click “Connect”
5. When prompted, enter your NSID and password
