Fisher Scientific / U of S Partnership Agreement
The Lab Supplies Committee and Purchasing Services (FSD) are pleased to announce a new preferred
supplier contract with Fisher Scientific to provide the following goods and services:

Laboratory Supplies – Chemicals and Consumables
Minor Equipment and Accessories valued under $5,000
Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services
In addition to contract pricing, the value added benefits of this partnership will:
• Provide a single source for the majority of general laboratory supplies used in teaching and
research.
• Reduce overall life cycle product and service costs through contract pricing.
• Maximize the use of technology to improve processes by using on-line ordering and order tracking
through the Purchasing Services eMarket, a web-enabled direct connect system.
• Support the University’s Sustainability Commitment in the Integrated Plan.
• Support students through scholarships and work experience.

• Secure access to the preferred supplier’s on-line catalogue – contract items only
• Description of catalogue item
• Green product options
• U of S negotiated contract pricing
• On-line ordering and fulfillment with PCard, standing order or purchase order
• Real-time inventory status
• Printed and/or emailed statements with purchase/transaction details upon checkout
• Real-time tracking of shipments.
