Tracy will discuss current coastal environmental challenges facing North Carolina, and efforts to address these issues. Topics will include improving the North Carolina economy through coastal restoration, protecting water quality by decreasing polluted runoff, advocating for compatible industrial development in the coastal zone, and protecting our oceanfront and inlet beaches for public uses and to maintain their natural functions.
