Environmental Studies majors automatically satisfy the Global Perspective, Technology, and Intensive Writing
requirements. The Constitution requirement and Historical Perspective may be met in the major; and the Social
Science, and Humanities/Arts areas may be partially met within the major electives. This program assumes
students enroll in an 18-21 credit hour minor. Students choosing to double major or to earn more than one
minor will take fewer electives.
* Enrollment at the University of Sunshine Coast, Australia is limited to 4 courses per semester.
† For General Education, three (3) courses are required in Quantitative Skills/Natural Science: 1 Quantitative Skills,
1 Natural Science, and 1 additional Quantitative Skills or Natural Science, see approved lists. Natural Science must
include a lab science; if two natural science courses are taken, they must be in two different groups: Life, Physical,
Earth. ENST majors must select one science or math elective in addition to the ones fulfilling General Education.
Total: 120-125 credit hours earned.
