Psychology Statement of Interest
Directions:
The statement of interest should be 500-800 words in an essay format, double spaced and Arial 12 point font.
Your statement of interest should address the following points:
a) The areas of psychology in which you are interested
b) Your career and educational goals immediately upon completion of the master's degree
c) Your long-term educational and career goals
d) How completion of this degree program will help you reach your career and educational goals; and
e) any career-relevant experience you have had (e.g., instructional, research, computer skills, counseling,
animal care, etc.)
1) Type essay into a separate word document and upload into "writing sample"
section of the upload documents section of the application
2) Ensure that the Psychology Research Interests form is uploaded into the
"statement of interest" section of the upload documents section of the application
