The University of Saskatchewan OVERVIEW The purpose of the Post-Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) option is to recognize previous university achievements of qualified students and provide them with the opportunity to earn a BSN in a shortened period of time. Students who have completed a baccalaureate degree, or have made significant progress toward a degree in another field (at least 90 credit units by April 30, prior to May 1 admission) are welcome to apply. LENGTH The Post-Degree BSN option is a full-time intensive study completed in less than two calendar years. ADMISSION Admission to the Post-Degree BSN option is competitive. A minimum average of 70% (calculated on the last 60 credit units (cu) towards a degree) is required to be considered for admission. A competitive average will be calculated based on post-secondary coursework completed before December 31 of the year prior to the desired entrance date.
