If they have not completed them, they should do so during the first year of the BSW program. Students must also find time to complete missing University Studies courses while progressing through BSW requirements (may require summer). First Semester SWK Courses:** SWK 235 – offered both semesters SWK 240 SWK 240L SWK 320 SWK 355 Enter all SWK CRNs at the same time Senior Year Try not to take other courses, Field Practicum is intense and it is difficult to schedule courses **NOTE: Any student should be able to register for first semester BSW core courses. If those courses are full, they can contact Catey Miller for an override. Students need to complete an application for the major. If they have not, they are expected to by the next deadline. Full time program – 3 days a week 1st semester, Not required if previous master’s degree. 2 days a week for 2nd, 3rd & 4th semesters Liberal Arts base of undergraduate study (including: PT program – Classes two nights per week – human biology or human development, basic hybrid courses- rotate weeks online and then statistics (PSY stats – ok), intro to psychology and in the classroom intro to sociology) Ability to work with children, homeless, older For Fall 2015, there were 128 total applicants and 53 adults, military, substance abuse, etc…. were admitted – 25 spots in full time and roughly 30 in part time.
