withtheopenenrollmentprocess.TheBenefitsCounselorsareencouragingemployeestoprint
acknowledgmentofthehealthassessmentaswellasanychangesbeingmadeto2016plansas
backupintheeventthatchangesarenotrecognizedbyBenefitFocus.Beawarethatitistaking
upwardsof7daysbeforethepremiumcreditforthehealthassessmenttoshowonthe
enrollmentform.TheNon‐TobaccoAttestationislocatedatthebottomofthepremiumcredit
screen.(Ithasbeennotedbyseveralemployeesthatthiscreditishardtofindontheenrollment
form.)

TheSHRAprobationarystatusrulestatingthatnewhiresremainonprobationfor24monthshas
beenchanged.SHRAprobationaryperiodisnow12monthsasofOctober1,2015.Upon
successfullycompletingprobationarystatus,SHRAnewhiresbecomecareerstatus.SHRA
employeesthatwerehiredduringthe24monthprobationruleandhavecompletedatleast12
monthsoftheirprobation,willreceivenoticethattheyareoffprobation.Communicationwillbe
senttoemployeewhohavenotcompletedafull12monthstoletthemknowwhentheir
probationarycycleends.

MoveTime,onlineleavereportingforexemptemployees,isneartheendofthefirstleave
reportingcycle.Trainingwasheldforleavekeepersandemployeesearlierthismonth.
SmartTime,onlinetimeandleavereportingfornon‐exemptemployees,willlaunchinJanuary.
LeavekeepertrainingisscheduledforNovemberandDecember.Employeesandsupervisorswill

GuardianElectronicI‐9processingwilllaunchinDecember2015.I‐9processingforall
employeesincludingstudentsandtempswillbecentralizedinHRwiththeexceptionofhigh
volumestudenthiringincertaindepartmentsoncampus.TheprocessforSHRAandEHRA
employeesremainsthesame;employeeswillcontinuetocompletetheirI‐9duringtheir
onboardingappointment.Moreinformationwillcomeaswegetclosertothelaunchdate.
