UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Integrating the Arts in the Elementary Curriculum - Designed to provide experiences with visual art, music, drama,
and dance that will prepare students to plan and deliver appropriate experiences for elementary students. Attention will be
given to understanding the arts in culture, the needs of young children in the arts, the creative process, the skills and
concepts of the arts, and connections to other disciplines. Emphasis will be on integrating arts instruction in other areas of
the curriculum.
Integrating Technology Into Teaching and Learning - Course is designed to provide K to 12 pre- and in-service
teachers, computer resource teachers, and instructional technology coordinators the knowledge and skills on how to apply
computer and information technologies to educational environments and how to integrate these technologies into teaching
and learning. It

Evaluation and Change in Instructional Development - designed to introduce to the students the process and the
techniques involved in the evaluation of instructional and training modules, programs, and curricula. This course also
intends to equip the learners with knowledge and tactics of change management related to evaluation.
Instructional Video Design and Production - Emphasizes fundamental theories and practice in camera and computerbased audio and video production, including recording, editing, and digitizing audio and video segments for education and
training applications.
Instructional Design - Course provides conceptual tools and analytic skills essential to planning, implementing, and
evaluating instruction. Topics include: types of learning; conditions of learning; performance objectives; purposes, forms,
and procedures for educational assessment; task analysis, and lesson design.
