Primarily in recognition of a request from the Graduate Student Association, I have
suspended for an indefinite time the Graduate School Tuition Waiver policy announced
April 6, 2009 (the nine credit limit). Since the financial issues are not resolved, I ask that
you help by keeping registration for credits to the number necessary for the program,
wherever possible.
We have consulted with the CAS Dean’s Office and they will proceed in a parallel
manner. Dean Comer wants to emphasize that in these times, it is essential to be mindful
of credits attempted by each students and avoid excessive credit loads.
