Jesse Perl: Seconded i. Jarvais: resolution last year decided to keep smoking to designated areas ii. Cunningham: type of information compiled iii. Barrera: Why did Williamson ask if we took a stance last year? iv. Aubire: will not be collecting data, council needs to take a stance v. Counts-Davis: can we look at everything we have compiled vi. Steverson: a lot of people who came who were passionate about going smoke free because people do not smoke in designated areas, smokers were concerned for safety to leave campus to smoke and being disenfranchised vii. Perez: Dr. Comstock is asking if we think it is the right thing to do viii. Aubrie: 20 schools who have gone Smoke/Tabaco free in SC ix. Reece: if we were to be a smoke free campus, we are leaders and have to enforce the rules VIII. x. Aubrie: no vote tonight, will send out information in an email, get familiar with information and take a vote next Monday xi. Belk: speak to groups about this issue and gauge what they think d.
