A RESOLUTION
TO ENDORSE AND SUPPORT A REEFERENDUM ON CAMPUS
WIDE VOTING.
WHEREAS, the Council of Student Leaders represent
the students of Winthrop University; and
WHEREAS, it is the duty and responsibility of the
council to ensure that the will of the people, the student
body, is carried out; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Student Leaders
THAT the council is committed to holding a
referendum on student voting rights concerning student
government, giving students an opportunity to choose an
alternative way of electing their leadership or staying
with the status quo; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon passage copies
of this resolution are to be sent to The Johnsonian and
Roddey McMillian Record; The Vice President of Student
Life.
