EB 99-18 October 1999 'HSDUWPHQW6HULHV3XEOLFDWLRQV -XQHWKURXJK'HFHPEHU &RPSLOHGE\&DURO3HWHUV Department of Agricultural, Resource, and Managerial Economics College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Cornell University Ithaca, NY 14853-7801 Introduction This report lists all the publication series from June 1992 through December 1998 for the Department of Agricultural, Resource, and Managerial Economics at Cornell University. Single copies of most of the listed publications are available from the department upon request. There are four types of publications in the Department that are listed in this report. The EB Series (Extension Bulletins) is intended to describe applied research or other scholarly writing for industry audiences, policymakers, and extension educators. The RB Series (Research Bulletins) are finished research reports written primarily for professional peers, as well as decisionmakers or policymakers who want in-depth analyses. The RB Series contain papers of completed work that may be too long, too timely, or perhaps too applied to be appropriate for a peer-reviewed journal. The WP Series (Working Papers) consists of journal-article-length research manuscripts assumed to be subject to future review and revision. The intended audience is professional peers. The SP Series (Staff Papers) is typically papers given at meetings and the like. They are generally less complex or complete than bulletins. These papers are for a variety of audiences and may or may not be based on research. This report indexes the department's publications in two ways. First, an index is provided at the back of this report that lists publications according to subject matter. The list of subjects is large and varied, which is illustrative of the diverse department faculty. The subjects include: farm business analysis; income tax management; farm transition planning; human resource management; farm labor policy and regulations; finance; dairy markets and policy; horticultural product markets; cooperative enterprise; agricultural and food policy; food industry management and markets; community development; economic development; agriculture and the environment; farmland protection; environmental and resource economics; international development; international trade; applied economics and analytical methods; and production/consumption issues. Second, an index by author is provided at the back of the report. Please visit our web site at http://www.cals.cornell.edu/dept/arme/ for these or additional publications. Some reports are available in PDF readable format.
