MBA ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Supported by Career Trek, an excellent professional graduate career services
program integrated into your classes. Lourdes MBA graduates are empowered with
the tools and resources to locate and secure fulfilling careers. Careers for MBA
graduates are not limited to specific industries but permeate every segment of the
business world.
In addition to admissions requirements for the Graduate School,
the following are required for admission to the MBA program:
In the Lourdes program, your MBA career search begins the moment you start
your first class with a total immersion that will continue throughout the entire
program. Even after graduation you have access to the Career Trek program support
resources as well as connecting with alumni to keep you sharp, prepared, and ready
to continually grow your professional MBA career.
GLOBAL
IMMERSION
The Lourdes MBA program
offers candidates a global
immersion learning experience
towards the end of their course
of study. Upon returning, our
graduates say that their global
MBA immersion was one of
the highlights of their Lourdes
MBA experience.
• Any earned bachelor degree from an accredited university or
college at the time of application. In addition, applicants must
have sixty credit hours, with a grade of C [2.0] or better, of
undergraduate business coursework (or the equivalent) within
the majority of the following core content areas: Accounting,
Economics, Ethics, Finance, Legal Environment, Management,
Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Quantitative Analysis
and Statistics or Calculus in order to have all of the MBA
foundational content courses waived.
• Admitted applicants with less than 60 credit hours, with a grade
of C [2.0] or better, of undergraduate business coursework
(or the equivalent) must take the MBA foundational content
courses at the graduate level. The MBA program will not accept
credit for equivalent classes taken at the undergraduate level
once an applicant has been admitted.

Have earned a bachelor’s degree from a
regionally accredited institution with a
minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA.
 Request official college transcripts and have
them sent to the Graduate School
Submit a completed Graduate Application for
Admission.
Submit a current resume.
Submit a statement of purpose.
Write a statement of purpose approximately
250 words in length addressing the purpose
for enrolling in graduate studies at Lourdes
University as illustrated by three major
benefits the applicant hopes to gain from the
experience.
If the applicant completed a baccalaureate
degree within the past five years, one of these
should be an academic reference who can focus
on the potential for success in graduate level
coursework.
Candidates have traveled to England, South Africa, Brazil, and China with private
meetings and tours from BOVESPA, South America’s largest stock exchange to the
international accounting firm, Lehman Brown in Beijing. Experience a personal
approach to global business by networking with international business leaders while
learning to solve complex international issues.
Complete the GMAT with preference given
to those who receive a score of 470 or better.
(This requirement will be waived for applicants
with a business degree and a cumulative GPA
of 2.75 or higher.) The GMAT test results
should be sent to the Graduate School office.

APPLY TO THE GRADUATE
SCHOOL
For the full-time program only - applications submitted before
the priority deadline are eligible for Scholarship and Assistantship
consideration. After the priority deadline – Applications will be
accepted on a rolling basis.
Complete a satisfactory interview with the
MBA admissions committee if the cumulative
GPA is below 2.75.
