Daily Routine
• Bring your folder, spiral notebook, Digits Companion Book
and pencil to class each day (calculator and ruler will be
announced when needed.)
• Copy homework from assignment board in your
planner at the beginning of class. May copy the entire
week on Monday.
• Read agenda on board and take out necessary
materials and get started on warm up activity.
What to Do to Be Successful
• PARTICIPATE in the guided practice, classroom activities
and discussions
• Write notes, definitions and sample problems
• Listen carefully to explanations and instructions. If you
don’t understand, PLEASE ask questions.
Homework
Most of your homework will be completed on Digits.
• Go online and check “To Do”
• Write each assignment in spiral writing your name, date and
assignment (example: 1-1) in the upper right hand corner.
• Number each problem and show any work needed to solve.
• TRY every problem and show all work. Your work
demonstrates your process and understanding.
• Mark any problem you found difficult then ask about in
class.
How is Homework Graded?
Most assignments, paper or digital, are worth 5 points.
All questions must be attempted with work shown and on time
to receive 5 points.

The Digits platform is a great tool for learning, but you have to make
sure your computer is up to date with all the required, free software.
This site will check the requirements for you and link you to anything
you may need.
