Politeness and mutual respect are expected from both the students and the
teacher. Please do not interrupt others, raise your hand if you have something to
contribute and listen when others are speaking.
Treat the property of both the school and the other students with respect and caution.
Arrive in class on time and prepared. Refer to the list by the door for required materials.
Students are to be in their seats and quiet by the time the teacher begins class.
Follow the teacher’s written and verbal directions. This is extremely important in a
Science class where the equipment and materials could become hazardous if they are
used incorrectly.
Become an active student in class by participating.
Take pride in your work; be neat, organized and do your best. On Time, Done Right!
Wait to be dismissed by your teacher and not the clock.

Each student is required to have a notebook each day in class. They are to be
well organized containing completed homework, class handouts, notes, lab
worksheets, quizzes, and tests.
Each student should have notebook paper for class activities and assignments.
Text books will be available for each unit. Books may be signed out for the evening.

All work should include the student’s entire name, date, class period, and assignment
title in the upper right hand corner.
Grading is based upon homework assignments, labs, projects, quizzes and tests.
Full credit can be only earned on material handed in on time. One day late
assignments will receive 50% credit.
It is your responsibility to get assignments missed due to approved absences. You are
expected to make up all work missed. You are permitted one day for each day missed
to finish your work.
