*A maximum of 18 semester hours of coursework in Art may be transferred to SXU, including up to 9 hours of elective coursework in Studio
and/or Design:
•
Coursework equivalent to required courses in the major at SXU: ART 1101 (ART101), ART 1102 (ART 201); ART 1151 (ART 102);
ART 1152 (ART 202). Up to two of the following: ART 2211 (ART 121), ART 2212 (ART 122), ART 2213 (ART 123).
•
Electives in Studio and Design (maximum 9 semester hours): Check COD-SXU 2+2 website for acceptable COD courses that can
transfer to SXU as Studio and design electives.
** At least one natural science course must have a lab.
***Completing the Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education program at Saint Xavier University in four semesters is dependent on the academic
strength and progress of students transferring under the provisions of this agreement.
****One course completed at SXU must be selected from the approved list of Interdisciplinary Seminar.
