Welcome Kim/Lisa III.
Principal’s Report Mark We received a $1,100 check from Chipotle and $700 check from Kroger. The redistricting forums are wrapping up. The redistricting plan will be a short term fix within a long range plan. Scott Sibberson is also leading a team to focus on a technology plan to determine how to utilize technology with all of the growth in the district. Two of the charity fundraisers that Karrer participates in, Blessings in a Backpack and a food drive for the Dublin Food pantry have been moved to spring/summer per the request of the charities as those times of year are when they have a greater need. As such, the Turkey Bowl which benefits Blessings in a Backpack will now be the Spring Bowl. The current blanket drive is going well. Winter weather information can be found on the website. Whenever possible the call to cancel school will be made the night before but will always be before 7am. Follow KMS on Twitter to get cancellations immediately when they are made by Dr. Hoadley. The first phase of the courtyard is complete and went very well. The courtyard will reopen now during nice weather. 4 big screen tv’s (2 in the commons and 2 in the media center) have been replaced, 3 of the 4 were no longer working, all 4 were 12 years old. Upcoming events are listed below. IV.
Teacher Report & Requests Mark There are no new teacher requests. We received a thank you note from Mr. Perry and Mrs. Ehrsam for the books for Academic Reading. V.
Secretary’s Report Julie It was noted that the October 5 meeting minutes have the incorrect name for the business of our guest, Paul Kelly, it should be Mathnasium. Kim Carpenter motioned to approve the minutes, Stacey Wellman seconded. VI.
Treasurer’s Report Mukul We did not need to use scholarship money for the Washington DC trip. The courtyard expense of $4,148 included $3,000 budgeted money and $1,848 from selling the bricks. The planner sales will have a surplus because of the timing of paying for the next year. VII.
Old Business All No old business. VIII.
New Business All Kim Carpenter noted we received a gift card from Andersons that was intended for last years 8th grade event but arrived after the event so we agreed to pass it on to this year's 8th grade event chair to use for this year's 8th grade event. IX.
