Date: Job Description: For Who: Purpose: 5/07/2007 Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program (HWPP) seeks a new recruit for Program Coordinator position. Health Promotion and Human Development graduates. The Program Coordinator is a new position at HWPP and will work independently to provide leadership for building technical and partnership capacity of awardees and applicants, informing and implementing an HWPP evaluation plan, and enhancing statewide presence of HWPP. The incumbent will coordinate the assurance of project performance, organizational capacity, leadership development, partnership facilitation and evaluation of project and HWPP effectiveness. To do this effectively, the Program Coordinator will establish a plan to identify the training and capacity building needs of HWPP-funded partnership projects and potential applicants through review of project (progress) reports, site visits, surveys, focus groups, informational interviews, and ongoing communication with grantees. The incumbent will organize capacity-building initiatives in collaboration with the HWPP team and work with both HWPP applicants and funded community and Medical College of Wisconsin partners. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Health Science, Health Administration or a closely related field. Experience: 5 years of progressively responsible Minimum experience in public health or community-based program Qualifications: planning, technical training and evaluation.
