List two things about the course content, materials or design that were effective for your learning, or make

Loved the five week course. Even though it was instense it was nice to get it over with faster! I also felt
it was helpful to have a quiz every week to make sure we were on course in our learning.
Instructor is good at explaining the concepts. and the text book is very helpful.
The way the instructor presented the material was extremely effective and she was very accessible for
help. The book is great too, I liked how all the examples are real-life statistics. If something confused
me in class I could go figure it out by the book.
Lectures were very explanatory and helpful for completing assignments and test material. The
textbook also worked as a great supplement to what we learned in class.
The way the teacher really cared about our grades and worked with us, not against us. And how
patient and accomedating she was with our questions and needs. She was the best teacher I have
ever had and I have been to four different universities now.
Jen was an excellent instructor. The information was presented in a clear and organized way.
Good examples in class, instructor was very clear on what was expected.
the lectures were very well organized and the lecture notes were a nice supplement to the book.
I definately learned a lot from the lectures and the notes that I took. It was a lot of information to learn
in five weeks, but the course was well organized and I learned a lot.

She was wonderful considering the subject was such a tough one! She always made sure she was
available to help any student in the class and was very patient and approachable. She also lectured in
a way that helped to digest the concepts better. I would recommend that any student taking Math 1070
take it from this instructor!
She definitely had a love for the subject matter which is always a plus :). Her method of lecture was
weird for me at first, but when it came time to study for quizzes, the notes she had us write in class
became very helpful.
Her organization and care for us was amazing. I hate math and she made me like it. She is the most
incredible teacher I have ever had. She deserves a raise or and metal or something.
Best instructor in the math deparment
This is the best professor I have ever had, I have taken statistics before and it was really hard. Jenn
was extremely easy to understand and presented the material in ways that were clear. I could tell how

hard she worked to prepare to teach us and it really shows. By far the best instructor, I was extremely
impressed. Wish I could take all my classes from her.
This instructor was great. She made herself available throughout the week and before class for
additional help. She was patient and kind and I appreciated that she took such an interest in the
success of her students. She really went above and beyond what I expected and I think the majority of
my classmates would agree.
Good at explaining concepts. Always encourage questions and answer it in a very detail way.
Her notes were very informative and her attention to detail made her an amazing instructor. By far the
best math instructor I have had.
By far the best math teacher I have ever had. She made the difficult content of the class simple to
understand. She went at a pace that allowed the students to comprehend the material, without
compromising the amount covered.
