As of November 1 snapshot, as per IPEDS Fall Staff reporting rules. Headcounts follow AAUP logic for counting actively teaching faculty. This logic includes faculty
on paid sabattical, and excludes faculty hired to replace those on paid sabattical leave. The counts also excludes faculty on unpaid leave, as well as librarians,
athletic coaches and administrators with nominal faculty status whose primary role is not course instruction. The AAUP rules also exclude part-time faculty; for this
report part-time faculty are tabulated according to the common data set (CDS) reporting logic.
