Academic Programming Task Group – results of discussion on July 9 Three main topic areas were agreed upon as our focus for programmatic analysis: Interdisciplinarity, International Connections, Online vs. Traditional Teaching. We agreed to break into two subcommittees to work for the next several weeks. One group will have an internal focus and study what we are doing at UM now, the other group will have an external focus and see what is happening at comparator schools and on the national and international education scenes. Those who were at the meeting divided into the two groups (listed on page 2 of these notes).
