Camp Community College Foundation for many years. Nancy made providing access to higher education for students a priority during her service on the Foundation Board. Born and raised on the Hedgepeth-Hargrave family farm near Ivor and Wakefield, Virginia, Nancy knows first-hand the importance of higher education in a rural community. She has been a long-time believer in the community college system and is one of the charter members of the Paul D. Camp Community College Legacy Society. In 2006, she was honored as Paul D. Camp Community College’s first recipient of the Chancellor’s Leadership in Philanthropy Award. In 1998, Nancy designated a deferred gift to the Paul D. Camp Community College Foundation.
