guidelines? Please check (X) space provided.
This an elective course within the Biology
curriculum.
This is a required course for all Wildlife
Biology majors. Moving the course to a 300level course would serve multiple purposes.
There are several upper division courses in the
major that have physiology as part of their
content (e.g., Mammalogy, Orinthology, Insect
Biology) so with this move to a junior year
course it would help prepare the students for
those later classes. Additionally because of the
background of the students, their lack of a basic
understanding of physiology, and the active
learning style used to teach this course to
enhance understanding, this course should be
taught at a 300-level.
