The Forest Operations and Applied Restoration option within BS Forestry is a relatively new program and as such we continue to make minor adjustments to the dedicated courses within the program. One of these changes is to break the old 5-credit FOR 435 Advanced Timber Harvesting and Forest Roads course with two instructors into two, 2-credit courses with one instructor per class. This will allow both students and instructors greater flexibility. This also reduced the total number of required credits within the option by one. What other programs are affected by your none proposal? Obtain signatures as requested above. V Copies and Electronic Submission Once approved, the original, a paper copy and an electronic file are submitted to the Faculty Senate Office, UH 221 (camie.foos@mso.umt.edu). VI Department Summary Required if several proposals are submitted. In a separate document list program title and proposed change of all proposals.
