Health Information Coding Specialty Option
Health Information Coding Specialty Option
Students are trained to analyze health records and
to accurately abstract and code procedures and
diagnoses utilizing legal and regulatory standards.
An understanding of anatomy, medical
terminology and disease processes will provide
students with the necessary tools to determine
correct codes and sequences.
