During this short period of time, callers raised nearly $16,000! If you did not hear from us, we might not have your updated contact information. This celebration of women festival is an indoor exhibition and sale of fine arts, crafts and other creative expressions. PURPOSE The WAVE Festival originated as a way to celebrate the successes and accomplishments of women throughout the local community. In the spirit of our Franciscan values, we embrace the civic communities whom we engage, celebrating the many talents of our participants, and welcome the visitors who come to our campus. In conjunction with the annual recognition of March as Women's History Month, we are pleased to bring together talented artists, craftswomen, and performers for the afternoon. It is our hope that the experience will not only impress and delight you, but empower you as well. Proceeds will benefit a local women's charity. Lourdes, the only higher education institution currently in Northwest Ohio that began as a women only college, is proud to host the festival. Founded by Mother Adelaide and the Sisters of St. Francis fifty-six years ago, Lourdes embraces its history and the spirit in which we continue to recognize and honor women who not only have shaped our past, but will influence our future.
