Ori Rife named Alumni Relations Officer / Social Media Officer at Lourdes.
A little bit about Ori:
Ori was named the first head competitive cheer and dance coach at
Lourdes University with the charge of starting the program for the 20132014 season. In her first season at the helm of the Gray Wolves, she led
Lourdes' cheer squad to the 2014 NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance
National Invitational.

The cheer team earned a pair of first place finishes during the inaugural
season while the dance squad recorded three championships.

Ori started at Lourdes as a direct-from-high school student in 2006. In
2009, she began a student internship with the Admissions Office and was
offered a full-time position in 2010 upon completion of her Lourdes
undergraduate degree in Marketing.
Homecoming

Ori has had an exceptional experience at Lourdes which is why she
wanted to stay involved with the institution and further her education.
In 2012, she received her Lourdes Master's degree in Business
Administration.
Ori officially started her position as Alumni Relations Officer on June 1.

Achieving a milestone
College graduation is a great accomplishment in itself. For one individual,
this year's commencement was even more special. Eight years after
surviving a bus crash in Atlanta, GA, while traveling with the Bluffton
University baseball team, Tim Berta realized yet another milestone achieving his Master of Organizational Leadership degree. Tim's long road
to recovery is an inspiration for many and a testament to the power of faith.

Jill Kopanis, MOL '07, has been promoted to Vice President, Human
Resources at Dynamic Dies, Inc; a manufacturer of tooling for the
corrugated box industry. She previously served as Corporate Director of
Human Resources for the company.

There are also committees to support the Alumni Association we
encourage you to join.
-The Activities Committee plans and hosts the alumni events, such as
athletic events, the Annual Dinner, Happy Hours, and more!
-The Advancement Committee helps support the mission of the University
in fundraising efforts.
-The Nominations Committee recruits and selects the Alumni Board and
also determines the winner of the Alumnus of the Year Award.
Job Opportunity
The Fulton County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a fulltime Early Childhood Specialist to work with children 0-2 with special
needs and their families. Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in
Early Childhood, Special Education or related the field and have or be able
obtain DODD Early Intervention Certification and ODH Service
Coordination Credential. Two to three years experience. Please reply with

Re-enroll or Register your Kroger Plus Card and Help

The Alumni Association is working on creating unique ways to raise money
for Lourdes Scholarships. We will continue with the Kroger
Community Rewards program.
It is time to re-enroll your Kroger card in Kroger Community
Rewards. Kroger requires people to re-enroll every year to continue their
donations.
If you do not have your Kroger card linked to Lourdes University for the
Community Rewards, we are asking you to considering making Lourdes as
your charity of choice. This is at no cost to you.
Registering your card and giving back to Lourdes in this way will NOT
affect your gas points, coupons you receive or other discounts you receive.
This is just a fantastic additional way Kroger supports their community!

Lifelong Learning at Lourdes
Lifelong Learning is an exciting educational
program at Lourde
s. Open to all interested men and women, the only
requirement for participation is an interest in
ongoing learning! Participants enjoy:



Classes in a wide variety of academic
subjects
Day Trips of educational interest
Monthly Lectures featuring outstanding speakers, held on the third
Friday of each month from September through May
All classes are offered for the sheer joy of learning with no tests, exams, or
grades. Many are taught by Lourdes instructors or Lifelong Learning
members who have a particular area of expertise. As alumni, you are
granted a membership to Lifelong Learning, so you can take classes at the
member rate.
