Ori Rife named Alumni Relations Officer / Social Media Officer at Lourdes. A little bit about Ori: Ori was named the first head competitive cheer and dance coach at Lourdes University with the charge of starting the program for the 20132014 season. In her first season at the helm of the Gray Wolves, she led Lourdes' cheer squad to the 2014 NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance National Invitational. UPCOMING EVENTS! The cheer team earned a pair of first place finishes during the inaugural season while the dance squad recorded three championships. Celebrity Wait Night at Real Seafood September 2015 Ori started at Lourdes as a direct-from-high school student in 2006. In 2009, she began a student internship with the Admissions Office and was offered a full-time position in 2010 upon completion of her Lourdes undergraduate degree in Marketing. Homecoming October 23-25, 2015 Ori has had an exceptional experience at Lourdes which is why she wanted to stay involved with the institution and further her education. In 2012, she received her Lourdes Master's degree in Business Administration. Ori officially started her position as Alumni Relations Officer on June 1. Please join me in welcoming her on board. Congratulations, Tim Berta Achieving a milestone College graduation is a great accomplishment in itself. For one individual, this year's commencement was even more special. Eight years after surviving a bus crash in Atlanta, GA, while traveling with the Bluffton University baseball team, Tim Berta realized yet another milestone achieving his Master of Organizational Leadership degree. Lifelong Learning at Lourdes Lifelong Learning is an exciting educational program at Lourde s. Open to all interested men and women, the only requirement for participation is an interest in ongoing learning! Participants enjoy: Classes in a wide variety of academic subjects Day Trips of educational interest Monthly Lectures featuring outstanding speakers, held on the third Friday of each month from September through May All classes are offered for the sheer joy of learning with no tests, exams, or grades. Many are taught by Lourdes instructors or Lifelong Learning members who have a particular area of expertise. As alumni, you are granted a membership to Lifelong Learning, so you can take classes at the member rate.
