Aldo Leopold Foundation Announces $10,000 Challenge Grant
Double the impact of your contribution in the month of September!
BARABOO (September 18, 2014) – The Aldo Leopold Foundation, a non-profit conservation
organization located in Baraboo, WI, is excited to announce that generous supporters Craig
and Michelle Larson have graciously offered to match every contribution the foundation
receives in the month of September up to $10,000! The challenge grant comes at a great
time with a dollar for dollar match. And we need your help!
“Supporting the Foundation is an opportunity to do my part toward building a more
ecologically minded society. The role the Foundation plays in helping to weave a land ethic
into the fabric of our society is something to be proud of, and I’m happy to support its
mission,” said Craig Larson.
Through this matching grant, people can double the impact of their contribution in the month
of September! That means every $50 you give contributes $100 towards our programs that
help to advance the understanding, stewardship, and restoration of land health and cultivate
leadership for conservation. You can mail a donation in to the Aldo Leopold Foundation or
donate online at www.aldoleopold.org. Please remember to do so by September 30, 2014!

support vital projects such as our Land Ethic, our Land Ethic Leaders Program, Woodland
School, Leopold Education Project, and Land Restoration to name a few," said Executive
Director Buddy Huffaker. “Every gift, no matter what the size, will help support vital projects
and enable the foundation, as well as the Land Ethic, to extend its reach throughout this
country and beyond.”
