Title Student Worker - Environmental Services Job Description This position will be approximately 60% field work and 40% laboratory/office work. Field work will consist of travel to various hydroelectric power plant projects to conduct environmental compliance survey work: - exotic species monitoring - stranded fish surveys - threatened and endangered species monitoring - encroachment surveys -erosion surveys - water quality monitoring equipment calibration Laboratory work will consist of the following: - pulverizing coal (requires the use of a respirator) - glass ware clean up - sample preparation - miscellaneous tasks as assigned Office tasks as assigned: - making copies - Excel spreadsheet creation/maintenance - electronic document management (filing) - report assembly Minimum Qualifications • Must be 18 years of age or older • High School diploma, GED, or HSED • 2.0 GPA or higher (based on a 4.0 grade scale) • Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor, or master degree. • A valid driver’s license Employee Value Proposition Interested candidates must apply online no later than the Removal Date indicated below.
