Spring Semester Resume Workshops have been scheduled for students in
the above majors. All sessions will be held in #170 TNR Building from
7:00 to 9:00 PM on the following dates:
Monday, February 3rd
Wednesday, February 5th
Tuesday, February 25th
Thursday, February 27th
Monday, March 3rd
Thursday, March 6th
Wednesday, April 2nd
All sessions are identical in content, so students need to attend only one
program.
Participants should be prepared to take notes.
Pre-registration/Signup is NOT required, although I will ask to swipe your
student ID to document your participation.
The information obtained from one of these sessions will enable you to
write a rough draft of your resume. Several individual appointments will be
necessary to refine your draft and develop a strategy for your job search,
but this initial group session is necessary to get started.
May 2014 grads who have not already attended a session should do so as
soon as possible. August and December 2014 grads should plan on
attending a session before the end of the semester. Continuing students
who anticipate needing a resume for internships or summer jobs are
encouraged to attend the early sessions.
Students and/or faculty/staff from all disciplines are most welcome to
attend, although these sessions are aimed at science majors.
