Banner PVAMU – Term Codes
In Banner, the semester/term is represented by numbers and is a combination of the year and a
special two digit number that will denote whether it’s Fall, Spring or Summer.
The term codes are as follows:
10 – Fall (+1 year)
20 – Spring
30 – Summer
These numbers are in the 5th position and are added to the end of the four digit number that represents
the academic year. So for example summer 2012 would be represented in Banner as 201230.
