Alabama A&M University University of Ghana Africa Summer Internship Program (ASIP) Request for Application for Summer 2013 Target/Focus: Five to seven undergraduate students from the College of Agriculture, Life and Natural Sciences (CALNS) and the College of Business and Public Affairs (COBPA) who meet the selection criteria will travel to Ghana (University of Ghana, Legon) to engage in a program of study designed to prepare globally competent individuals with a comprehensive and actionable sets of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to be successful in a competitive global economy. The internship will expose the student to the cultural, economic, political, and business issues associated with international foods and agricultural systems, international business and economic development, cultural and the political climate of other countries.
