Notes:

180.5 Credits are needed for graduation. In addition, a BSE student must have a 2.0 cumulative overall GPA.

General Education Electives are 24 credits of non-technical courses. All Computer, Math, Engineering & Science related courses will
NOT count as General Education electives.

Free electives are 24 credits of any technical or non-technical courses.

Engineering requirements are 45 credits of engineering courses from COE or BIOMED. 15 of these 45 credits can be at the 200 level.
30 of these credits must be at the 300-400 level. BSE students must complete a capstone experience such as the Senior Design
Project.

Technical electives are 18 credits of 200 level or higher courses in BMES, MATH, CHEM, PHYS, BIO or other COE courses. Advisor
approval is required for technical electives.

A minimum of 24 credits are required to complete a Business Administration minor.

A grade of “C” (2.0) or better must be earned for each course in the Business Administration minor for it to be counted.

