Reddwerks   Put-­‐to-­‐Light   (PTL)   solution   to   optimize   and   align   the   order   fulfillment   processes   in   their
Somerville,  NJ  based  distribution  center.

Reddwerks’  Warehouse  Execution  Software  provides  Marcolin  USA/Viva  with  the  versatility  to  change   processing  methodologies  currently  weighted  toward  batch  pick  methods.  Rather  than  picking  individual   orders  from  shelves,  the  Reddwerks  solution  allows  operators  to  pick  bulk  quantities  of  products  and
use  the  PTL  system  as  a  staging  area  to  quickly  put  the  products  to  orders.
The  change  reduces  the  number  of  physical  touches  required  for  each  order  and  maximizes  storage  by   reducing  forward  pick  bins  and  leveraging  larger  bulk  storage  locations.
