Taft College is seeking a pool of qualified candidates with demonstrated instructional skills to join an
outstanding team of faculty and staff to provide high quality programs and services for our students.
Teaching assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed (as
specified in Education Code Section 8748.25). We are seeking lecturers who have the ability to teach in the
following areas for inclusion in a pool, for the 2016 summer intersession and fall semester. The 2016 summer
intersession begins on Monday, June 6, 2016 and concludes on Thursday, August 11, 2016. The 2016 fall
semester begins on Monday, August 22, 2016 and concludes on Friday, December 16, 2016.

MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualifications for the above listed adjunct lecturer positions can be found at
www.taftcollege.edu (Chancellor’s Office Minimum Qualifications). If an applicant does
not meet the minimum qualifications equivalency may be established per District Board
Procedure #303P. Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic,
socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college
students.

PROCEDURE:
