A s the school year is wrapping up, students and educators can still extend learning outdoors.

Join us at DNR’s MacKenzie Center in Poynette for this year’s youth expo. The expo will offer hands-on outdoor activities for students in 4 th , 5 th , and 6 th grades. Many of the activities are correlated to state academic standards. Students will also be able to see up-close LIVE wolves, lynx, bison, badger, otter, bald eagle, turkey vultures and other wildlife.

Budget tight? Ask us about available transportation funding.

At the expo educators, conservation volunteers and DNR professionals will help keep students engaged while increasing their understanding, appreciation and sense of stewardship for natural resources, Wisconsin’s outdoor heritage and related activities.

A series of stations will emphasize hands-on learning experiences where students will participate in these outdoor skills activities:

 Archery
