This course will provide an introduction to some of the many resources available to enhance classroom teaching in environmental education (EE) and sustainability. Resources will be broadly defined as including print and audio/visual materials as well as organizations, programs, internet-based resources, and people. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and evaluate sustainability and EE resources that will address and enhance specific curricular needs. This course is structured to easily fit the individual needs and interests of the class participants. Assignments and projects are expected to be tailored to fit the student’s needs as it relates to the subject area and grade level of which they teach.
